Kanata and Stittsville Outdoor Rink Locations

Ottawa is known for its numerous outdoor rinks that offer residents and visitors the opportunity to enjoy ice skating during the winter months.  The city has over 40 outdoor rink locations across Kanata and Stittsville alone.  The larger facilities have dressing rooms, lights, and washrooms.

The majority of these rinks are run and maintained by volunteers who put countless hours into making sure the ice is in great condition for residents.

Check out the interactive map I've prepared showing the location of each rink:

The City of Ottawa website has a list of all the rinks in the city, including info on booking ice surfaces, rules, and how to volunteer.

Another great outdoor rink resource is the Ottawa Rinks Website.  The site features information on up-to-date ice conditions, closures, and on-site amenities.

Outdoor ice rinks evoke a sense of nostalgia, reminiscent of simpler times when communities gathered on frozen ponds for a spirited game of hockey or a leisurely skate.
Rinks serve as communal spaces, fostering a sense of togetherness and unity. Families, friends, and neighbors gather at these rinks, sharing laughter, and stories.
As we lace up our skates and glide across the ice, we connect with the timeless magic of the season. This winter, let's embrace the enchantment of outdoor rinks, creating memories that will warm our hearts long after the snow has melted.
